CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation Policy – Salao Watersports Fuerteventura

At our water sports school, we want to ensure that all our students have the best possible experience. We understand that unexpected situations can arise, which is why we have established the following Cancellation Policy to ensure a balance between flexibility for our customers and maintaining the quality of our services.

1. Cancellations by the Customer
•	Cancellation more than 48 hours in advance:
If you decide to cancel your class or activity more than 48 hours before the scheduled time, there will be no charge, and you will be entitled to a full refund or the option to reschedule the class at no additional cost.
•	Cancellation within 24 hours of the activity:
If you cancel your class or activity within 24 hours of the scheduled time, a 50% charge of the total price of the activity will apply. This is to cover preparation costs and the time of the instructor reserved for you.
•	No Show:
If you do not show up for your class or activity without prior cancellation, no refund or rescheduling will be issued, as the class or activity has already been reserved, and the instructor's time has been allocated to you.

2. Changes to Date or Time of the Class
•	Change more than 48 hours in advance:
If you need to change the date or time of your class or activity, you may do so free of charge, as long as you notify us more than 48 hours in advance.
•	Change within 24 hours of the class:
If you need to change the date or time of your class with less than 24 hour’s notice, a 20% administrative fee of the activity price will apply.

3. Cancellations Due to Weather Conditions
The safety and well-being of our clients are our top priorities. If weather conditions are not suitable for practicing water sports (e.g., extremely strong winds, storms, or dangerous sea conditions), we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the activity at no additional charge to you. In this case, we will offer you a new date for the activity or a full refund if you are unable to attend the new date.

4. Cancellations by the School
In exceptional cases, such as an emergency or reasons beyond our control (e.g., instructor illness, serious technical issues with the equipment), we reserve the right to cancel the activity. In this case, we will offer:
•	Rescheduling of the activity at no additional cost.
•	Full refund if you cannot reschedule.

5. Exceptions to the Cancellation Policy
We understand that exceptional circumstances (e.g., family emergencies, serious illness, etc.) may arise, making it impossible to comply with the cancellation policy. If this happens, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss a fair solution. We will assess each case individually.

•	Full name of the customer
•	Date and time of the booking

7. Refund Policy
Refunds will be processed via the same payment method used for the original booking. If a refund is issued, you will be notified by email, and the refund will be processed within 5 to 7 business days.
