The best wind season in Fuerteventura typically runs from March to October, with the peak wind conditions occurring from June to September. During these months, the island experiences consistent trade winds (alisios), making it ideal for water sports like kitesurfing, windsurfing, and wingfoiling.

• March to June: Winds are strong but not as intense, making it a great time for both beginners and experienced riders.
• July to September: These are the windiest months, with strong and reliable winds, ideal for all levels especially for advanced riders looking to push their limits.

October: Winds remain good, though it can be a bit less predictable as the season transitions into autumn.

The Alisios wind is a northeast trade wind that blows from the northeast toward the southwest. It is part of the global wind system that affects tropical and subtropical regions.
